Undergraduate Student Curriculum
The Animal and Dairy Sciences curriculum is designed to allow the students the flexibility to take courses that are most suited to the student’s goals. Our faculty serve as academic advisors to assist student’s one-on-one with course selection and to ensure a timely and successful graduation.
All MSU students must complete the University’s required core courses. Additionally, within our department, there are core courses in the animal sciences and students must pick from one of these four concentrations.
1) Meat Animal Science and Production Concentration
2) Dairy Science and Production Concentration
3) Equine Science and Production Concentration
4) Science/Veterinary Science Concentration
Pre-veterinary students also have the option of a 3+1 program to obtain a bachelor of science degree in ADS.
Details on all required courses, concentrations within ADS and the 3+1 program can all be found in the Undergraduate Bulletin.
