Mississippi State University is a great place to get a graduate degree. There are approximately 20 graduate students that call the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences home.
Prospective students must meet the University requirements for admission and must have a faculty member who is willing to serve as their major professor. Please see the list of faculty in Animal and Dairy Science to see if one fits with your research interests. Students can apply on-line to the MSU Graduate School. To be considered for Departmental assistantship funding, applications must be complete and submitted no later than March 1 for summer or fall entry or November 1 for spring entry.
